Here in Colorado and nationwide the lending playing field is changing daily.  More and more lenders are changing their guidelines and programs that they offer.  A book could be written about all the changes over the last 2 months. More lenders are dropping out of the market.

Having said this, I am optimistic there are still a lot of opportunities for home buyers and home owners to refinance and purchase.  If you are contemplating a purchase or refinance, now is the time to get with your mortgage broker and look at the options available.  More so, if you have a challenging situation whether it be credit or home value, now is the time to ask questions and find the right mortgage solution for your needs.
